The Case

You want to ensure that data is being replicated in a correct, undifferentiated way. However, Database Server provides no detail regarding the changes that occurred in the course of the replication. Manual checking procedures are time-consuming and prone to human error.

• Ensuring that replication has passed successfully
• Reducing the time needed for the checking procedures.

Our solution is

Use Cross-Database Comparator Pro 6.0 or Cross-Database Studio 6.0 in order to generate SQL comparison reports between master and replicated database:

1. Select schema objects and/or data you want to have a warning alerts for;
2. Configure comparison strategy in order to produce comparison reports, schedule comparison sessions etc.;
3. Run comparison session manually or automatically;
4. Analyze comparison reports in order to produce replication warning alerts
5. If required you can generate and keep the synchronization scripts together with a comparison reports (Cross-Database Studio 6.0);
