Openning the ODBC Administrator directly from Cross-Database software

1. Run CDB 3.1
2. Select File->New Database item of Main Menu

Openning the ODBC Administrator from the Control Panel

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. On computers running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later

- double-click Administrative Tools,
- double-click Data Sources (ODBC).
3. On computers running previous versions of Microsoft Windows

- double-click 32-bit ODBC or ODBC.

When adding a new Data Source, the ODBC Administrator presents a list of the available database drivers from which the user chooses one.

Then, the Administrator calls the selected driver and the driver displays its dialog box containing the fields to be filled out with the information the driver needs to connect to the Data Source. The driver, then, stores the information on the system.
