Openning the ODBC Administrator directly from Cross-Database software
Openning the ODBC Administrator from the Control Panel

When adding a new Data Source, the ODBC Administrator presents a list of the available database drivers from which the user chooses one.
Then, the Administrator calls the selected driver and the driver displays its dialog box containing the fields to be filled out with the information the driver needs to connect to the Data Source. The driver, then, stores the information on the system.
The contents of the driver dialog depends on the driver's needs — see ODBC driver configuration descriptions for most popular database vendors in the following parts of this document.
