Comparison Differences dialog

Red color lines – records are different

Blue color lines – record exists only on one side

Black color line - record identical

Press Show record details button on the Table Data Differences window toolbar in order to view in details the found differences for a selected records pair.
When the button is pressed the detailed view is shown at the bottom of Table Data Differences window.

The Show record details command provides with additional option of data viewing - Show compared data values .

If this option is selected the detailed view will show the compared data values, i.e the data values converted according to Comparison options.

If the option is not selected the the actual data values stored in the database will be shown in the detailed view.
Double-click on the row indicated as containing differences. The Data Differences dialog is displayed.
The Data Differences dialog shows the found differences, specifying them for each pair of corresponding record fields.
Press Show the cells details... button of the dialog toolbar to view record fields values in ASCII and Hexadecimal mode at the bottom of the Data Differences dialog.

Press Show the data values... button to view the data values converted according to Comparison options
The Table Data Differences dialog provides possibility to compare data values of any two selected cells. In order to do this :
1. Select any cell of the data grid at the left pane
2. At the right pane, right-click the cell of the data grid to be compared.
3. Select Compare Selected Cells Data item on the popup menu. The Cells Data differences window is displayed.
The Cells Data differences window shows data values of the selected cells in ASCII and HEXADECIMAL mode.

Different characters are indicated by the red color.

Identical characters are indicated by the black color.

Characters which appear in only one cell are indicated by the blue color.
