Compare Foreign Keys

The "Compare Foreign Keys" option allows comparing foreign keys, defined for the specific table

Before you execute comparison:
  1. Set-up Comparison and check SQL Vendor Specific Options
  2. Check Convert Master check box (under the main tool bar) on the Source database side. See Conversion Rules
  3. On both sides (trees), Connect to Database (one database on each side)
  4. Expand Tables node on both Database Connections (one connection on each side)
  5. On each side select the table you want to use
To compare the foreign keys:
  1. Right-click on table name (on one of sides)
  2. From the mouse menu, select Compare->Foreign Keys
    OR
    From the mane menu select Compare->Table/View Foreign Keys
    OR
    Use Compare Table/View Foreign Keys icon from the tool bar
    OR
    Drug one table onto another and use Compare Foreign Keys menu

If Comparison Options configured to save the result to the output file, you will be asked to provide the file name. For more information, see Comparison Options
