Custom Schema
Use the Custom Schema dialog to create,
edit and delete Custom Schemas.
Create Custom Schema
- From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema .
- In the opened dialog, click Create New .
- Specify descriptive name for the new schema.
- From the Data Sources combo box select the Database Connection name you
want to create custom schema for.
- Select tables you want to use in your "virtual" schema – check the
check-boxes near the tables’ names.
Edit Custom Schema
- From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema .
- From the Data Sources combo box select the Database
Connection name you want to edit custom schema for.
- From the Custom Schemas combo box select the schema you want to update.
- Use Edit Schema button on the tool bar.
- Update tables selections.
- Save.
Delete Custom Schema
- From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema.
- From the Data Sources combo box select the Database Connection name you
want to delete custom schema for.
- From the Custom Schemas combo box select the schema you want to delete.
- Use Delete Schema button on the tool bar.
- Confirm the Delete.
Work with Custom Schema
- Right-click on the Database Connection name on the tree.
- Use Properties menu.
- On the Connection Properties dialog switch to
Settings tab.
- Select Custom Schema from the Schema
mode combo box.
- Select Default Custom Schema .
- Apply changes and close the dialog.
- Refresh the connection.
