Custom Schema

Use the Custom Schema dialog to create, edit and delete Custom Schemas.

Create Custom Schema

  1. From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema .
  2. In the opened dialog, click Create New .
  3. Specify descriptive name for the new schema.
  4. From the Data Sources combo box select the Database Connection name you want to create custom schema for.
  5. Select tables you want to use in your "virtual" schema – check the check-boxes near the tables’ names.

Edit Custom Schema

  1. From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema .
  2. From the Data Sources combo box select the Database Connection name you want to edit custom schema for.
  3. From the Custom Schemas combo box select the schema you want to update.
  4. Use Edit Schema  button on the tool bar.
  5. Update tables selections.
  6. Save.

Delete Custom Schema

  1. From main menu, select Tools->Custom Schema.
  2. From the Data Sources combo box select the Database Connection name you want to delete custom schema for.
  3. From the Custom Schemas combo box select the schema you want to delete.
  4. Use Delete Schema  button on the tool bar.
  5. Confirm the Delete.

Work with Custom Schema

  1. Right-click on the Database Connection name on the tree.
  2. Use Properties menu.
  3. On the Connection Properties dialog switch to Settings tab.
  4. Select Custom Schema from the Schema mode combo box.
  5. Select Default Custom Schema .
  6. Apply changes and close the dialog.
  7. Refresh the connection.
