Import Database Connection

"Database Connection" is an internal Cross-Database Studio object, containing ODBC connection information to the back-end dataset and a variety of internal advanced Cross-Database Studio parameters. You may share Database Connection definitions between different Cross-Database Studio Workspaces.

1. Open the workspace you want to Import database connection to
2. Right-click Database Connections tree node
3. Select Import Database Connection from the menu
4. Browse for the Workspace you want to Import the database connection from (the extension of Cross-Database Studio Workspace is ".cdb")
5. The dialog with all the database connections defined in browsed workspace will open
6. Select database connection(s) you want to import
7. Click OK
