Creating your own Workspace

Opening the application, you can see in the left upper area a square, named Getting Started. Click on Create a new workspace . Using the Workspace wizard you can create your working environment and configure connections to your databases.
  1. Write the Workspace name. Any descriptive name you wish to use. Click Next  
  2. Select Yes to define database connections inside your new workspace. Click Next
  3. Configure connection to one of your databases:
    1. Write descriptive name to identify the connection. Click Next
    2. Use Typical configuration. Click Next
    3. Select database vendor from the combo-box
    4. Fill out the values of ODBC connection parameters, according to your database. It's recommended to use this driver. Use Test Connection to check the correctness of parameters. Click Next
    5. Review the connection definitions summary. Click Next
    6. Currently your workspace defined to contain one database connection. Click Add New Connection to configure connection to your second database.
  4. Repeat steps 3.a – 3.e and configure second connection
  5. Click Finish to complete the Workspace and database connections configuration.
